The construction process

Susan recommends making an appointment to come in and discuss your requirements. This consultation is at no cost and no obligation.

Once the design and fabrics are agreed upon, a “toile” is made of your gown. This is the basic design made up in calico, and allows fitting and design adjustments to be made, before the gown is cut in the final fabric. Brides should allow for four fittings.

Susan personally cuts and fits every gown she makes, and makes a complimentary handbag to complete the outfit.
