About Susan Ogg..
Susan began dressmaking whilst studying at Queensland University . Within a few years of completing a degree in applied science, demand for her work was so high that she decided to set up her design and dressmaking studio in East Brisbane in 1989. Seventeen years later she still enjoys the challenge of making beautiful gowns, not only for the bride, but for the entire wedding party.
Susan Ogg’s professional studio is located, just near the home of the Brisbane Lions, “Gabba” in East Brisbane , Queensland.
Susan’s approach is professional but relaxed and flexible. Susan works closely with the bride-to-be to ensure their dream dress becomes a reality. She is happy to combine her years of experience with the bride’s own ideas to create the perfect dress.
Susan says “ It’s important for women to feel comfortable and confident in what they wear. Most women are not a stock standard size, and find it difficult to buy ready-made. Many of my brides want an individual look which reflects style, quality, beautiful fabrics and most importantly, fits them perfectly“.
Susan will create bridal wear that can be as traditional, classic or contemporary as you wish.
Susan specialises in hand beading. Susan’s handwork and attention to detail earns her a highly respected reputation in the Queensland bridal industry.
